Club & House Activities


Clubs enable students to meet, mix, and collaborate with other students from different backgrounds in a different environment. They are pushed outside of their comfort zone and encouraged to socialise with people they are not very familiar with.

Co-curricular activities include computer education, physical health education, and socially beneficial and constructive employment (Fine Arts Club, Music Club, Dance Club, Literary Club, Mathematics Club, Science Club and EVS/ Social Science Club)

These activities aim at providing and developing in students and teachers a sense of unity and teamwork, learning how to collaborate with others in achieving the same goals. The school has a 4-colour House System; various activities and competitions are also conducted by the House-in-charge teachers.



Extra-Curricular Activities


Extra-Curricular activities help to develop social and intellectual skills, moral values, personality development and character appeal in students. At. Shivratna School, students are motivated and encouraged to participate in Athletics, Cultural Events, Library,Science Lab,Classroom activities, Creative Arts,Meditation etc.

Various Club activities and competitions like Debate, Extempore, Quiz, Skits, Role play, Assembly etc… are also conducted in the school which help the students to sharpen their communication skills, expression, public speaking, participation, personality development and sense of belonging.

Students involvement in Science, Art and Craft Exhibition, Excursion, Picnics, Field experiences are not just fun activities but help them to grow and explore things and enhance general awareness. Various academic competitions like Talent search, Olympiad, Spell Bee, Essay writing, Elocution etc are the platform where students can explore their knowledge, mental ability and confidence.

Extra-Curricular activities add balance to student life and facilitate Physical, Emotional, and Cognitive development in children. It makes teaching and learning experience exciting for both students and teachers.


Health and Physical Education


The importance of Health and Physical Education including Yoga, Sports and Games in School encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. Increase in self-esteem and mental alertness make sports and games necessary for every child.

Keeping this in mind, an array of co-curricular activities such as athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, baseball, chess, yoga are provided to the students. The large play grounds give students a wide perspective to engage themselves in various activities as per their talents and interests. The students are trained and coached in various games and sports by our PETs.
